Camila Mendes and Cole Sprouse Bonded Over Armpit Sweat at the "Riverdale" Audition

"I was literally in the room with paper towels."

Auditioning for Riverdale is enough to make anyone nervous — so nervous, apparently, that you may need paper towels to absorb all your sweat. At least that's how it was for Camila Mendes and Cole Sprouse.

Camila recounted the day when she, Cole, and Lili Reinhart auditioned for Riverdale in a recent interview with Nylon. "I remember that moment so vividly, the three of us being in that room," she said. "I remember sitting next to Lili, being like, 'So, where are you from?' Just small talk before the audition. I remember talking with Cole. We bonded over the fact that we both sweat a lot before auditions."

And when she says "a lot," she means it. "I was literally in the room with paper towels," she remembered. "I would keep them under my arms and right before they called my name I would just put them away." Honestly, I don't blame her, I'd do the same!

In the years since that encounter, the cast of the hit series has become great friends, from eating pizza together on set to co-creating a beauty tutorial and playing a game of Truth or Dare. It just goes to show there's nothing like armpit sweat to bind people together and create an ever-lasting friendship...even while dealing with masked villains and murder mysteries on Riverdale.
