Camila Cabello Wondered If She'd Kiss Nick Jonas on New Year's Eve
When Camila Cabello rang in the new year a few weeks ago, she had some ideas about who her New Year's kiss would be...and it was none other than Nick Jonas.
While chatting with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Camila revealed what was going on in her head as she watched the ball drop alongside Nick, Ryan Seacrest, and Mariah Carey. "When you go into the ball drop thing, they don’t let you bring your family up with you," the singer-songwriter explained, adding that it was just her and the other three celebrities.
"And the ball was dropping and I was like ‘Am I going to kiss Nick Jonas!?’" Camila went on to say, adding that she thought it would be "cute" if the two of them locked lips at midnight. "It’s like the New Year’s thing! I’ve never had a New Year’s kiss before!" she exclaimed. (Of course, you don't need to kiss anyone to ring in the new year — sometimes a hug from a friend would do just fine.) Nevertheless, Camila "chickened out" at the last minute, and the kiss never took place. But hey, there's always 2019, right?
