Posting a picture of her holding a diamond plaque, Camila wrote, "I am HONORED to be the first Hispanic female singer to earn a @riaa_awards Diamond single award." According to the RIAA, artists are awarded diamond status when a single or album surpasses 10,000,000 units.

Inspired by her historic accomplishment, Camila added, "I hope this paves the way for many more incredible Latinx artists!!"

She graciously thanked the team who helped the song come together. "Thank you to my incredible co-writers and producers Frank Dukes, Ali Tamposi, Andrew Watt, Pharrell, Lou Bell, Brian Lee, Starrah, and Young Thug for being my collaborator on this."

Last, but not least, Camilia shared a few kind words to her supporters for helping the single become such a massive success, "and thank you to my amazing fans I love y’all."

It's been a busy few weeks for Camila. Prior to celebrating diamond status, she hit the runway for the Le Defile L'Oreal Paris 2021 show and performed at the Global Citizen Live music festival alongside her boyfriend Shawn Mendes.
