Camila Cabello Stepped Out in a Nude Princess Dress on the AMAs Red Carpet
Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are both at the American Music Awards tonight, but the couple opted not to walk their first red carpet together just yet.
But both made individual style statements, Mendes in a purple and turquoise suit first and then Cabello in a nude high-low dress embellished with flowers later. Cabello's look has total fairy tale vibes, especially with the Rapunzel-esque braid:
While the two attended the MTV VMAs this summer, they also walked that carpet separately. They sat next to each other during the show and showed a lot of PDA though.
Cabello and Mendes' song “Señorita” is nominated for Collaboration of the Year tonight. Mendes also has a Favorite Social Artist nomination, but he's up against BTS, Billie Eilish, EXO, and Ariana Grande, so it's a competitive category.
Cabello and Mendes' AMAs date comes after the two were seen having a very dramatic makeout session in Santa Monica last Friday. The two have been much more vocal and showy with their romance over the last couple weeks.
Cabello explained to ELLE this fall that the two want to live their lives as if the paparazzi and public aren't watching. "People can say whatever they want to say," she started. "They can speculate, but at the same time, we are going to live our own lives, enjoy it, and fall for each other like nobody is watching. That is how I want to live. I never want to open the door for people to feel like they are involved. Like I said, I want it to be mine and [his]. That’s why I’m so tight-lipped about it: because I want to protect it."
