Camila Cabello didn't give an acceptance speech at the 2023 Grammy Awards, but she seems to have a good outlook about it.

The Voice season 22 coach attended music's biggest night after she scored a Best Pop/Duo Performance nomination for her song "Bam Bam" with Ed Sheeran. While Camila looked great wearing a bold gown with a pearl-beaded bra top and high slit, the night didn't go exactly as planned. The duo lost to Sam Smith and Kim Petras, who won the award for their viral duet "Unholy." Despite the results, when Camila posted a red carpet video to Instagram later that night, she had a hilarious comment to sum up the events from the evening.

"In my free time I love to get nominated for Grammys, practice my speech in the shower, then lose but look amazing," the former Fifth Harmony member wrote on February 6.

While Camila had nothing but laughs over the unexpected moment, her fans didn't feel the same way. What's more, they quickly rallied around the Cuban singer as they shared their pride in the comments section.

"You didn’t lose the Grammy, the Grammy lost you," one person wrote on Instagram. "Captionnnnn 🤣🤣🤣🤣 still proud of [you] queen," another added. "For many of us you all ready win! You are so incredible, stunning and [powerful] woman! We love you @camila_cabello ❤️✨," a different user claimed.

For those who missed it, Camila's 2023 nomination was the fourth time the Recording Academy recognized her work in music. She'd previously been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance for "Havana" and Best Pop Vocal Album for Camila in 2019, along with a Best Pop/Duo Performance in 2020 for her track "Señorita" with ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes.

Hopefully, the next time Camila comments about the Grammys it will be for the award her fans feel she's earned.
