While Matthew McConaughey is busy making movie magic, his wife Camila is making magic in the kitchen.

The Brazilian-born model turned entrepreneur regularly shares her recipes on her website, Women of Today. And Matthew, their three children, and the legendary Ma Mac get to be the lucky guinea pigs.

Not surprisingly, there are clear favorites in the Austin, Texas, home they all share.

“The most requested recipe in the house for me to make—by Ma Mac and Matthew—would be the no-mayo coleslaw,” Camila told Southern Living, referring to her viral coleslaw recipe that relies on olive oil, vinegar, and lemon juice instead of mayonnaise.

“Yeah but what's the one we really like?” Matthew pressed.

“For the kids, it's the honey chicken,” she replied. Matthew agreed, adding that their sons Levi, 15, and Livingston, 11, often compete to see how many of the dry-rubbed chicken wings they can eat.

But the true household favorite seemed to be slipping Camila’s mind.

“I'm going to say one you're forgetting…” Matthew said, earning a quizzical look from his wife. “Stroganoff.”

“Oh yeah I forgot about that!” she replied. “Brazilian chicken stroganoff.”

Camila’s recipe for Brazilian chicken stroganoff (or estrogonofe in Portuguese) is one that has been passed down from generation to generation in her family. It has become a staple in her Texas home, much like it was in her home growing up in Brazil.

“That's a Brazilian dish... with chicken... and cream, and corn, and it's... yeah, it's sinfully good,” Matthew said of the family favorite. “But we can't eat that every night.”
