The Internet Thinks Calvin Klein Photoshopped Paris Jackson's Tattoos Out of Its Recent Campaign

People are not happy.

Anyone who is a fan of Paris Jackson, or has even seen a picture of her before, knows that she has quite a few tattoos. Which is why it's a bit jarring to see her skin completely unmarked in a new version of the “Our Family. #MyCalvins” ad campaign with Calvin Klein. Though the first images from the advertisement, in which Jackson poses alongside Millie Bobby Brown and Lulu Tenney, show Jackson wearing a sports bra and jeans with all of her colorful tattoos on display, there seems to be a new version that's being distributed as sponsored content to some users, according to StyleCaster.

Fans noticed weeks after the original photos were posted to the main Calvin Klein social channels that promoted tweets and Instagrams, which are targeted at specific users, featured a different look. Fans were quick to accuse the fashion brand of removing such a crucial part of Jackson's identity. "Someone tell me why Calvin Klein photoshopped every single one of her tattoos out," one Twitter user wrote with a screenshot of the altered image. "It’s Paris Jackson people, she’s tatted as fuck. This is just weird to me. Would be different if no one knew who she was."

Given that Paris herself has recently called out fans for altering her skin tone in photos, it seems that any removal of her tattoos would be a similar situation. "I appreciate everything y'all make for me, i enjoy every single edit i see. but please stop lightening my skin to make me look more white. and please stop darkening my skin to make me look more mixed," she wrote earlier this month. "I am what i am. i'm aware of what i look like and i finally happy with it.."

Neither Paris or Calvin Klein has commented on the image in question. See the two images and fan reactions, below.
