Fans of When Calls the Heart who are are counting the days until Hallmark Channel's longest-running series returns, are in for a treat!
Before her return to Hope Valley, Hearties can see their favorite teacher Erin Krakow starring in the network's latest Spring Into Love movie, The Wedding Cottage, alongside Chesapeake Shores alum, Brendan Penny.

What is The Wedding Cottage about?
To launch her new book, Tying the Knot – A Wedding Guide, Vanessa Doyle (Erin Krakow) holds a contest offering one lucky couple an all-expense paid wedding. After the winning couple is announced, Vanessa learns the couple needs to get married quickly, as the groom (Drew Henderson) is being deployed and the bride (Matreya Scarrwener) is finishing grad school in just a few weeks.
The couple chose The Wedding Cottage for their nuptials but unbeknownst to Vanessa, it has been closed for years and is in disrepair. Evan Sutherland (Brendan Penny), an artist who inherited the cottage from his grandmother, has been using it as his temporary residence while he waits for inspiration for his next masterpiece. He has no intention of reopening, but Vanessa wants her clients to have their dream wedding and is determined to restore the cottage.
With only five weeks before the big day, Vanessa uses all her charm to convince Evan to reopen and builds relationships with the local residents to create a magical wedding for the bride and groom. As Vanessa and Evan grow closer, it becomes clear how much The Wedding Cottage has meant to the town and how much more it now means to both of them.

Meet the cast of The Wedding Cottage
Erin Krakow (Vanessa Doyle)
Hallmark viewers are quite familiar with Krakow, who stars in When Calls the Heart, the longest-running series on Hallmark Channel. The long-awaited season 10 will premiere later this summer, but Hearties can get a dose of their favorite Hope Valley teacher in The Wedding Cottage.
Brendan Penny (Evan Sutherland)
Brendan Penny is no stranger to Hallmark. Having starred in no less than a dozen films, Penny also spent six seasons as Kevin O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores. He has also appeared on BH90210, Supernatural and Stargate: Atlantis.
