Calling All Bargain Hunters! Amazon Prime Day Is Here (and the Deals Are Really, Really Good)

If there’s one thing that’s even more satisfying than finally snagging that air fryer, luggage set, Himalayan salt lamp, or Ancestry DNA testing kit you’ve been eyeing for a while, it’s snagging one for an incredible steal.

And that’s where Amazon Prime Day comes in, offering 48 hours of deep discounts on thousands of items sitewide. As Amazon’s annual answer to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Prime Day is chock full of scores in categories from furniture to food. The one caveat? These limited-time offers are only available to Prime members. (Though, non-members can score savings too by signing up for a free 30-day Amazon Prime trial.)

This year, the shopping extravaganza kicks off at midnight PST on Monday, July 15, and, for the first time ever, lasts for two full days. Deals can be found in virtually every Amazon department, with some scores lasting for set periods of time and others until the discounted inventory runs out (hence the name Lightning Deals). Last year, deals included 70 percent off Samsonite luggage sets and 50 percent off fashion brands like Adidas and Columbia. Prime Day shoppers were especially hot for best-sellers like the Instant Pot Pressure Cooker, Bose Wireless Headphones, and Amazon Fire TV Stick.

Luckily, those who missed out on these sweet scores can find every one for a deal this year, too. And the best part? You don’t even need to wait until July 15 to shop. Many deals are already unlocked on Amazon through the weekend. Here are a few stellar discounts you can take advantage of ahead of the big shopping day:
