[Minor spoilers ahead for season 4 of Call My Agent!]

This year started off on quite the high note for French TV on Netflix. The slick new caper series Lupin became a global sensation—and a ratings hit on par with Bridgerton and The Queen's Gambit. And the rest of the world finally caught on to the genius of Call My Agent!

The critically acclaimed dramedy-slash-satire, about a dysfunctional group of ambitious talent agents who manage the careers and clean up the messes of their A-list clientele—featuring real cameos by the likes of Monica Bellucci, Isabelle Huppert, and Charlotte Gainsbourg—while juggling their own personal lives, has been around since 2015 but recently introduced to a wider audience thanks to Netflix. So imagine the disappointment for late entrants to the world of ASK agency, to learn that their new favorite binge was coming to an end: the fourth season, which dropped on the streaming platform in January, was meant to be the series' last and ended, if not necessarily on a happy note, at least with a bit of closure for Andréa, Gabriel, Mathias, and co.

Well, it seems Call My Agent! was just too good (and popular) to let go. In a very welcome twist, the French press broke the news this week that a fifth season has been confirmed (producers of the show hinted at the prospect back in January) and is in the early stages of development. In even better news, fans won't have to wait very long to find out what happens next for this crew. There is a movie in the works, too, expected to begin filming later this yearit will continue the storyline of season 4, bring back the original cast, and, of course, a slate of high-profile cameos. Per Variety, part of the film might take place in New York, meaning American stars may also be involved—Sigourney Weaver, who played herself in the last season, is the only non-French actor to have been a guest star on Call My Agent!

Whether you need a refresher, or have yet to become a convert, consider your weekend TV dilemmas solved.
