For customers at a California restaurant, a bottomless mimosas binge could cost them a lot more than just their dignity. The Mirror reports that the San Francisco restaurant Kitchen Story has implemented a "vomit fee" for overindulgent mimosa lovers. They plastered a sign about the fee in quite the ideal location: the bathroom.

"Dear all mimosa lovers, Please drink responsibly and know your limits. A $50 cleaning fee will automatically be included in your tap when you throw up in our public areas. Thank you so much for understanding," reads the the sign, which also includes a smiley face.

At Kitchen Story, guests are able to indulge in bottomless mimosas for an entire hour for just $23 per person. Unfortunately for the restaurant, some diners just weren't able to control themselves while under the influence of bottomless mimosas. According to Chaiporn Kitsadaviseksak, co-owner of Kitchen Story, incidents of people throwing up were "happening a lot" prior to the "vomit fee" sign being placed in the bathroom.

"Some people enjoy and have fun and speak so loud and try to party on the table. They get so happy and drunk they can't control it," he told The Mirror.

Luckily for Kitchen Story, the "vomit fee" seems to be working: there have been far fewer incidents of people unceremoniously letting loose their Rosemary Bacon or Frisco Benedict.
