California Bike Brand Stacks Up Their Team With A Rampage Legend

GT Bikes is a name with some serious history. The Southern California brand has been building bikes since the 1970's and is one of the longest surviving manufacturers out there.

They have gone through their ebbs and flows in popularity as any company that's been around has. But in the last several years, they have revamped their mountain bike line and picked up some big names - one of which being the legend Thomas Genon.

This partnership seems to go together as well as the brand and the rider's initials do. Tommy G apparently got a GT for Christmas in the early aughts and since then has always held a soft spot for the brand.

Tommy G is a pure freerider and his intentions with riding seem to align perfectly with the new GT. The 10 time Rampage veteran has one thing on his mind and that is going huge.

In his words, "I am thrilled to be joining this iconic brand. The feeling I got with the GT team has been great so far. They understand my sport, my passion and they all ride bikes and are very familiar with the freeride scene. I feel like I am at the right place and this gets me pumped for the future "

We are stoked to see what the future holds for these two. It will be cool to see what Tommy G can do with the full on DH beast that is his new custom Fury.
