Katelyn Williams strikes again! Since she shared her dark chocolate and coconut ganache cake with us in December, the pastry chef’s baking blog, The Kate Tin, earned her the South Africa Blog Award in the food category.
Let’s celebrate with another one of her cakes!
This one pays tribute to Williams’s favorite ice cream chain, Milky Lane, which provided the cakes for her annual birthday celebrations growing up in South Africa. Here, Williams creates a more sophisticated version. She starts with a chocolate brownie crust, then mixes strawberry and raspberry sorbets, and then she tops it with vanilla ice cream. For the finish, chocolate sauce and raspberries. Now that’s reason enough to celebrate.
