Caitriona Balfe Shares Previously Unseen Photos from the 'Outlander' Set
Given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the entertainment industry, the period between seasons of Outlander might be a little longer ahead of the show's sixth chapter.
Fortunately, the cast is helping fans get through the "droughtlander" as that length of time is affectionately called. Earlier today, Lauren Lyle, who plays Marsali Fraser on the popular time-travel drama, shared a few behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the Season 5 finale.
"To keep you going," she wrote in her caption, with her co-star Cesar Domboy (who plays Fergus), commenting, "😍 The food was delish, the kids were crying, and the polo was the smallest ever worn on tv. Life itself. Mmmmh I miss those days of future past. ❤️💙."

The photos Lyle shared were from the dream sequence in the episode, where Claire is disassociating and sees her 18th-century family in 20th-century clothing.
Costume designer Trisha Biggar previously shared with T&C that she thought Lauren Lyle, who plays Marsali, "was a perfectly '60s-looking person."
"I put her into a yellow dress with white tights and white boots, which was very much of the period, but it wasn't too crazy or too wild because she's there with the children. But I think she looked fantastically right in the period. Her hair, her face. She had a real quality of the late '60s, early '70."
Following Lyle's message, Caitriona Balfe also posted a behind-the-scenes shot from set that day, as did John Bell. We're keeping our fingers crossed this leads to a domino effect of never-before-seen pictures being shared!
