Caelynn Miller-Keyes Was ”Hurt” After Hannah Brown Became the Bachelorette
Caelynn Miller-Keyes says she was “hurt” when she found out Hannah Brown had been chosen as the Bachelorette over her.
Caelynn says she was “led to believe” she’d get the job.
Remember Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor? Yeah, well, everyone assumed that Caelynn Miller-Keyes was the front-runner to be Bachelorette after she didn’t get his final rose, but instead the job went to Hannah Brown—and apparently, Caelynn was hurt.
During an appearance on iHeartRadio’s Almost Famous podcast (via E! News), Caelynn opened up about being passed over for Hannah, saying, “I remember getting the call that it wasn’t me for Bachelorette and I was like, ‘Dang! That kind of sucks.” And then I found out it was [Hannah] at ‘Women Tell All.’ It hurt. It definitely hurt.”
Tonight I’m heading home with this guy (without Brett Young unfortunately)

Caelynn added that she was surprised producers picked Hannah over her, saying "It stung and I was upset and I was kind of led to believe that it was mine and then suddenly it wasn't. It was Hannah's. Looking back on previous seasons, it's always been in the top four and then to branch out and to pick Hannah, it just hurt."
She also implied that there’s some stuff she’s leaving unsaid by musing, “I felt like I was…I just have so many thoughts on the issues.” Obviously, everything worked out for the best because Caelynn is currently dating Dean Unglert, who she connected with on Bachelor in Paradise. They’re extremely cute and potentially low-key married, so!
