How Céline Dion Helped Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Celebrate Their Wedding Anniversary
Just when the world thought Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were having a low-key anniversary celebration, they bring in Céline Dion. The couple, who are celebrating their five-year wedding anniversary, headed to Las Vegas on Saturday to watch Dion at her residency in the city. They snapped pictures backstage together, showing Dion in a bespoke gold Schiaparelli suit and Kardashian in a bejeweled white catsuit (gotta keep with the bridal theme).
Kardashian kept her fans in the know, documenting the whole night on her Instagram stories where she wrote, “[Kanye] surprised me with a date in Vegas with Céline Dion.” She also posted photos of the three together writing, “My heart will go on!!!!”
Earlier in the week, the couple had a much more low-key anniversary dinner out in Los Angeles, which included a candle-lit dinner and some special dishes from the restaurant staff.
“They were tucked away in the corner and ate by candlelight," a source told E! News. “They were mostly talking to one another quietly and smiling across the table. They were low-key and mellow. They showed each other pictures on their phones and shared stories.”
Kardashian also celebrated the big day by launching a makeup collection inspired by her wedding glam for her beauty brand KKW Beauty.
“Everything about this collection is so special to me; the packaging, the beautiful versatile shades and the name, of course,” she said in a statement. “Not only can you create the most beautiful glam looks with these products, but I love the idea that the memories from the happiest day of my life are celebrated in this collection. I’m so excited that all of you will now have a little piece of this special day.”
