Céline Dion is going down memory lane and bringing fans along with her.

In honor of the French-Canadian singer's album A New Day Has Come celebrating its 20th release anniversary, she's sharing behind-the-scenes footage of how it came to be. On March 17, Céline posted a 45-second-long video on Instagram in which she got vulnerable about what it was like returning to music after becoming a mother. As fans may know, Céline welcomed her first son, René-Charles, with late husband and longtime manager, René Angélil, in January 2001 at the height of her career.

She confessed that the transition from being a new mom to returning to the stage wasn't easy. "When I started to sing again professionally, I wanted to make sure a couple of days before that I was going to be in shape," she said in the clip. "So, I started to warm up again and [the] first few times I was like 'Oh, okay.' My voice wasn't as flexible, as stretchy and as smooth."

Céline continued: "I was probably just nervous. When I started to sing again, I just took the easiest song on the album. I wanted to make sure [my voice] wasn't going to break in front of every body. I was just going to be so ashamed. [But] it went so well that I couldn't wait for the next day to record the next song."

A New Day Has Come was the artist's seventh English album but the first album she made after becoming a mother and taking time away from work to be at home with her family. In a YouTube video titled, "A New Day Has Come: Making the Album," from which the snippet is from, Céline shared that the album was released after a two-year hiatus from music in March 2002. For the Grammy-winning singer, it marked a new chapter in both her personal and professional life. Céline and René later welcomed fraternal twin boys, Nelson and Eddy, in October 2010.

After seeing the never-before-seen footage, fans took to her Instagram comments section to share their love for the songstress and her music. One person wrote: "This album means so much to me I love you, Célineeee 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️." Another added: "OMG A new day has come is one of your best song's what an icon. Still timeless to this day ❤️❤️❤️."

A different fan was surprised to learn that even a music legend like her could still get nervous from time to time: "It's almost impossible to think Celine ever feels insecure... great woman!"

Many of Céline's followers also took the opportunity to send her get well messages following the recent news that she canceled her tour due to health concerns. A listener commented: "I love you, Celine Dion!! Get better soon can’t wait to see you back in stage! 😍😍🙏🏼." Someone else wrote: "I hope you come back soon Céline ❤️ The album A New Day Has Come has never been so meaningful! ❤️❤️❤️ I send you positive vibes." Another said: "Ready for you to get back out there 🙋♀️❤️."

We're hoping Céline's feeling better. In the meantime, we'll be playing her album on repeat.
