Céline Dion Blesses Her Fans in Paris While Wearing Gucci

Céline Dion seems to have found her happy place in Paris. It was here, a year ago, when she reappeared on everyone’s radar as an emerging fashion icon during couture week and she (along with her wardrobe) has been blossoming ever since. On Tuesday, Dion emerged from her hotel in the city wearing a pink Gucci dress along with black stilettos, a rather simple look for the singer as of late. She greeted dozens of fans who were standing outside behind a barricade waiting for Dion to bless them with autographs and selfies.
Dion has been showing an appreciation for her fans rarely seen by other celebrities. Earlier this month during couture week she sat atop moving cars as they weaved through crowds of screaming fans. Dion waved and blew kisses and, naturally, wore couture. Soon Dion will depart Paris to continue the rest of her tour throughout Europe, and will probably continue to welcome her fans in an over-the-top style while wearing thousands of dollars worth of clothes. As her stylist, Law Roach, told Vanity Fair earlier this month: “Céline has no fear. And when you have that type of energy, you have this attitude that we can do whatever we want and we don’t care who likes it or dislikes it.”
As it turns out, people don’t like it. They love it.
