You Can Buy Raising Cane’s Sauce at Walmart

Many people choose fast food restaurants for the vast menu that has something for everyone. And while we love that you can order grilled cheese and tater tots at Sonic or chili and a Frosty from Wendy’s, we also really appreciate when a fast food restaurant hones in on one thing and sticks to it.

Take In-N-Out Burger with its five-item menu or Raising Cane’s with its simple combo platters, for example. They know they’re a burger or chicken fingers joint, and they own it. In fact, that’s what makes them so great because every recipe has been perfected.

At Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, a Louisiana-based restaurant, most people wouldn't ask for more side dish options because the coleslaw, fries, and Texas toast are so darn tasty. And, we’re sure, loyal customers don’t roll up asking for ranch or barbecue sauce—not when Cane’s Sauce is an option.

However, real “Caniacs” know the struggle of craving Cane’s Sauce when you’re enjoying chicken fingers, French fries, and even toast at home. And, unless you want to hit the drive-thru and pay extra for a small cup of sauce or make the sauce yourself, you’re out of luck.

Unlike a few other fast food brands, Raising Cane’s has yet to bottle its beloved sauce and take it to market. So, another brand capitalized on it: Walmart.

Walmart Released New Chicken Finger Dipping Sauce Fans Say Tastes Like Cane's

Walmart recently released a new Chicken Finger Dipping Sauce under its Great Value private label. While Walmart doesn’t claim that the condiment is a dupe for Cane’s Sauce, many reviews on Walmart’s site already mention that it tastes “just like” Raising Cane’s. Some have also said it’s comparable to Zaxby’s Zax Sauce and even Popeyes Blackened Ranch Sauce.

No matter which fast food restaurant you’re headed to for chicken fingers, it’s clear this Chicken Finger Dipping Sauce is the ideal copycat.

It’s obviously labeled as a “chicken finger sauce,” but if it’s as Cane’s Sauce-like as the people say, it’ll also be great on fries, chicken sandwiches, slices of Texas toast, and probably any other fried food you can think of. And, at $2.28 for an entire bottle, it’s cheaper than almost anything you’d order from a fast food restaurant.

The Chicken Finger Dipping Sauce joins Great Value’s robust line of copycat fast food sauces. Fans already love Walmart’s Chicken Dipping Sauce (reminiscent of Chick-fil-A sauce), Secret Sauce (similar to McDonald’s Big Mac Sauce), French Fry Dipping Sauce (comparable to most fry sauces of the West and Midwest), and Southwest Hot Mustard (which tastes like Mickey D’s iconic Hot Mustard)—so, we have high hopes the Chicken Finger Dipping Sauce will become a fast favorite.

Fire up some chicken fingers, fries, and Texas toast—may we suggest some store-bought frozen options—and grab your sauce because, as it turns out, we do have Raising Cane’s at home.
