You Can Buy a Chair That Looks Like a Black Leather Handbag and It's Hilarious

It makes a statement and houses all of your essentials including keys, wallet, chapstick, hair brush, maybe some hot sauce, snacks–whatever you need to survive daily life. Chairs are similar—they can help you get through the day or take a break from a long one. And now, we've discovered that a chair made to look like a classic, black leather handbag exists, and it might be the next “it” bag you need to splurge on.
The double-sided chair mimics the look of a classic black bag with a chrome clasp and leather strap. It’s made by JoAnn Tan, Lena Pessoa, and the Milan Moschino boutique, under the studio Vudafieri. Like any superior handbag, it’s an investment—with a listed price of $8,800 on 1stdibs.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen gorgeous furniture inspired by clothing. In 2017, Moschino unveiled a furniture collection with a bookcase and ottoman as a pair of shoes and a cabinet as a leather jacket.
