You Can Now Buy an (Affordable) Copy of Meghan Markle's Wedding Dress (and It's Offered in Inclusive Sizing, Too)
Truth: We’re all about the “Meghan Markle effect”—heck, we may have even bought a few of her staple jewelry pieces just because we love her style.
So when we heard her wedding dress was recreated by direct-to-consumer bridal brand Floravere just a few days after the royal wedding, we told our S.O. to propose ASAP just so we could snag one for ourselves. (Kidding, not kidding.)
The dress, which features shorter sleeves than Markle’s and a more off-the-shoulder neckline than her boatneck gown), has been replicated up to size 24 (bless!) and costs $1,475 (a steal considering the duchess’s was probably a teeny bit more than that…). It’s available to order now and will ship in six to eight weeks. The dress, appropriately titled the M. Markle, was recreated by a team of designers from little-known brands like Monique Lhuiller, Vera Wang and Marchesa…NBD.
OK, so it’s not a bespoke Givenchy…but we’re not exactly royalty, either (or, at least, not yet).
