Busy Philipps decided to get the jump on "Throwback Thursday" this week, sharing an old photo from middle school on social media.

The Girls5eva star posted an image of her black-and-white middle school yearbook photo, captioning it, "Just a reminder, this was me in 7th grade. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥."

She then added, "#tbt (I KNOW ITS WEDNESDAY LAY OFF LIFE IS TOUGH)." In the picture, a young Philipps in 7th grade smiles brightly with very short, wavy hair, and a t-shirt on.

Fans loved seeing a teenaged Philipps, with many complimenting her hair or sharing that they rocked the same style back then.

One person wrote, "Very Meg Ryanish hair wise," while another said, "That was totally the cool girl cut!"

Many more rallied behind her use of "#tbt" on a Wednesday, with comments ranging from, "It’s throwback Thursday in Australia so I assume it’s for us," to "As far as I’m concerned, it’s always Thursday for your throwbacks."

A few even suggested another phrase, "Way back Wednesday."

But probably the most hilarious response to Philipps' photo was the comparison to a young Leonardo DiCaprio, and honestly, the resemblance is hard to deny.

A follower commented, "Leo?!", as another comment read, "I need a side by side [sic] of Leonardo DiCaprio at the same age."

Based on when Philipps was born, the photo was likely taken in either 1991 or 1992, when she was 12 or 13 years old.

It wasn't long after that Philipps began her acting career, nabbing the role of Kim Kelly in the short-lived cult classic series, Freaks and Geeks, at age 19. The series also starred Linda Cardellini, Jason Segel, John Francis Daley, Seth Rogan, James Franco, and more familiar faces.
