Bury Me in the Sleeves of Gwendoline Christie’s High-Shouldered Jacket
Just when you thought tall goddess Gwendoline Christie couldn't get more statuesque, she stepped out in an outfit that defies the conventions of height.
On Thursday, the Game of Thrones actress showed out at the Rick Owens show at Paris Fashion Week wearing one of the designer's avant-garde pieces: a jacket with padded shoulders higher than my steep N.Y.C. rent.

You can't tell as much when she's sitting down, but as evidenced in a photo Christie shared of herself standing in the jacket, the high-shouldered sleeves even give an illusion of wings — making her look like a dark angel come to save us all, much like the way Brienne of Tarth saved Jaime Lannister from a bear.
