Burton Snowboards Reports Legal Triumph in German Federal Patent Court
In short, following a 26-month legal battle in the German Federal Patent Court, Anon, a leading innovator in snow helmets and goggles, and its parent company Burton Snowboards, are pleased to announce a significant legal victory against Koroyd S.A.R.L.
The court has fully confirmed Burton Snowboard’s position and declared Koroyd’s patent (EP 1694 152 B1) invalid in Germany. The decision, announced March 19, marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing dispute over intellectual property rights regarding WaveCel® technology.
