Burger King May Have Just Singlehandedly Ended The Barbiecore Trend

Barbiecore is having a moment. With the upcoming release of the Barbie movie, shades of hot pink and magenta have been spotted everywhere from the internet to the streets. But unfortunately for one popular restaurant, they may have taken Barbiecore a bit too far.

Yesterday, Burger King Brazil shared a photo of its new Barbie meal, and at first look it appears pretty tame. There's an adorable pink and blue box with the Barbie logo, fries, a soda, and a milkshake topped with a doughnut glazed in pink icing.

But then you get to the burger, and things quickly take a turn into Barbiecore hell. Shockingly, the burger is topped with a neon pink sauce that has fans freaking out.

"What the hell is that pink sauce wtf," one person tweeted.

"I can already feel the stomach pains," said another user.

Burger King Brazil also posted a TikTok of the burger being doused in the mysterious pink sauce, and let's just say that video footage isn't doing the burger any favors. Great heels though!

Pink sauce aside, people in Brazil who've had the chance to try the Barbie meal aren't incredibly impressed.

"Hi im brazilian this meal in itself is so lacking Bought it today with some friends at the mall, the lunch is smaller than the kids' burger, couldnt even see the pink sauce the soda and fries were good as always (the smallest size tho), the donut + shake was normal ig," read one tweet.

And then there was one person who reminded us all that things could be worse—20 slices of cheese worse. "This is much better than the Thailand cheeseburger," they tweeted.
