Burger King Is Launching a Brand-New Menu Item and Bringing Back 2 Fan-Faves

It’s a melty good time, but a limited one!

We love it when our favorite fast-food chains change up their already delicious menus, and Burger King consistently does a great job. We couldn’t wait to try its new Fiery Buffalo Royal Crispy Wrap and Fiery Nuggets last month, and the updated Mozzarella Fries look irresistible, too. Now we have something else to prepare for:

Burger King is bringing back a fan-favorite sandwich with new flavors for us to try, but only for a limited time.

Burger King Launches New Philly Melt and Brings Back Fan-Favorite BK Melts

Burger King is returning its popular BK Melts to menus nationwide this week and adding new flavors to try.

Beginning May 16, guests can head to their local restaurant and choose from various Melts. Grab a Classic BK Melt with two flame-grilled Whopper Jr. patties topped with American cheese, caramelized onions, and Royal Sauce sandwiched between toasted bread. For bacon lovers, there's the Bacon BK Melt, which is made the same as the classic but with, you guessed it, lots of crispy bacon to enjoy.

Burger King is also launching the brand-new Philly Melt, which features two flame-grilled Whopper Jr. patties with Swiss cheese, Royal Sauce, and flame-grilled peppers and onions.

BK Melts were first introduced to the menu in 2022 and have since become popular with customers, thanks to its fun and creative twists (hello, Shroom' n Swiss Melt and Spicy Melt).

While these three flavors are exciting, that's not all there is to look forward to. If you're in Atlanta or Washington, D.C., you can also try the Buffalo Ranch Royal Crispy Chicken Melt. These participating locations are doing a test run of this brand-new melt for a limited time starting May 16. As BK's first melt made with chicken, you'll enjoy this crispy chicken fillet smothered in Buffalo ranch and topped with Swiss cheese and bacon.
