Burger King Will Give You a Free Whopper in Exchange for a Picture of Your Ex This Valentine’s Day
As much as you probably wanted to burn, tear, and just completely destroy any evidence of your ex, we hope you kept at least one picture. That’s because Burger King will reward you for getting rid of their picture at one of its locations. It’s a Valentine’s Day miracle!
Burger King has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures in honor of its new film Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), which this theaters on Feb. 7. In true Harley Quinn fashion, the fast-food spot is celebrating Anti-Valentine’s Day at select locations with Birds of Prey-themed “breakup boxes,” aka black and pink boxes that features hearts, a crown, and “who needs The Joker when you can have the King.”
On Valentine’s Day (or in this case, Anti-Valentine’s Day), you can bring a picture of your ex (make sure it’s printed, not just on your phone) to certain Burger Kings in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Boston in exchange for a Whopper. At the New York location, you can also exchange a letter, a stuffed animal, or a piece of clothing for the burger.
New York: 327 W 42nd St. (valid Feb. 14 to 16)
San Francisco: 35 Powell Street (valid Feb. 14)
Los Angeles area: 545 North Victory Boulevard, Burbank (valid Feb. 14)
Boston area: 150 Everett Ave., Chelsea (valid Feb. 14)
Have no fear if you’re not in one of these cities! You can still get a free $3 Whopper through the BK app. The company is launching an in-app quiz, and you have the chance to get a Whopper if you answer four out of the five questions correctly.
A Whopper consists of a quarter-pound beef burger topped with tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, and white onions on a sesame seed bun. Unfortunately, this offer does not include the vegetarian-friendly Impossible Whopper, a Burger King PR rep confirmed to Best Products.
This offer has a limit of one per guest, so don’t scroll through all 10 of your ex’s Instagram pages to print out a bunch of photos. Just choose the one who irks you the most, and thank them (in your head) for being terrible and getting you a free Whopper.
