It’s no secret that Burger King fanatics can’t get enough of the food chain’s chicken fries. Now, BK continues to test a spicy variation with jalapeño chicken fries available in the United Kingdom.

Like the regular version they are based on, the jalapeño chicken fries are made with 100 percent chicken breast. They’re coated in a crispy jalapeño seasoned breading to give them that quality spice factor. Of course, it’s essential to note their slim, fry-like shape makes them ideal for dipping into your favorite BK sauce.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this variation, though. The last time we saw jalapeño chicken fries in the United States was in 2017 when they were available for a limited time at participating locations. It’s unclear if the item is only out for a limited time in the U.K. based on Burger King U.K.’s Instagram post about the release. The post solely mentions the current availability but doesn’t state a timeline like it does in previous posts–including a recent one about a deal on double melts.

Customers went completely bonkers when the OG chicken fries were finally added to the menu as a permanent item a few years back. When and if the jalapeño version ever makes it into the big leagues as a consistent option, spicy food fans will surely react the same way. In the meantime, let's at least bring them back to the U.S. for a limited time, OK, BK? Those of us who fancy spice will unite to prove the jalapeño version's worth.
