SEOUL — Bulgari on Thursday debuted Bulgari Studio here, a new platform to encourage creative collaboration among artists from a range of disciplines. To mark the launch, the jewelry brand held a series of activations centered around its signature B.zero1 ring, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

Bulgari Studio is designed to bring together artistic talents from various disciplines and fields for collaborative projects, including digital artists, architects, DJs and others. Earlier this month Bulgari launched a digital campaign by Germany-based Italian-Philippine artist Antoni Tudisco featuring multilayered images of the B.zero1, a ring inspired by the Colosseum in Rome.

Laura Burdese, Bulgari’s marketing and communication vice president, welcomed guests to the debut showcase at the Théâtre des Lumières here, which exhibited still images and videos of the B.zero1 collection, followed by displays of other Bulgari products, from Bulgari Bulgari watches to the Roma bag. The winding exhibition hall led guests into the ballroom for live performances. French choreographer Sadeck Berrabah, who is known for his viral choreography and collaboration with the likes of Shakira and Chris Brown, took center stage with a group of 84 dancers. A symphony of arm and hand movements created spatial designs in perfect harmony — folding and unfolding, winding and unwinding in a seemingly infinite display of waves and angles.

Later in the evening, multidisciplinary artist Anyma presented an immersive audiovisual live show. During the performance, he presented the world premiere of his new music track, “After Love,” featuring Grammy-winning singer Delilah Montagu. There also was a concert by Korean singer Lim Kim and a DJ set by Ana Kim.

“Bulgari Studio is a platform where the brand’s innovative philosophy intersects with the unique talents of contemporary artists in order to conduct bold experiments and generate fresh ideas,” said Shawn Lee, country managing director of Bulgari Korea. “We are thrilled to introduce Bulgari Studio for the first time in Seoul, a city that is super dynamic and is also leading bold trends in many ways these days.”

At the opening, Blackpink’s Lisa Manobal, a global ambassador for Bulgari, appeared in a high-low dress by Dion Lee. Her all-black attire accentuated the brilliance of her accessories, including a diamond B.zero1 necklace.

Other K-pop stars attending included Ni-ki and Jungwon of Enhyphen, and Min Gyu of Seventeen, who is also an ambassador for the Roman brand.

Other brand ambassadors taking part included Japanese model Hikari Mori, Japanese singer and actor Tomohisa Yamashita, Mexican actor Alejandro Speitzer, French singer Pierre de Maere, Turkish actress-model Serenay Sarikaya, and Filipina influencer Pia Wurtzbach.

Also present were Korean actors Lee Seo-jin, Kim Ji-won, Kim Ji-hun, Lee Jong-seok, and Kim Hye-jun; models Hyunji Shin and Hong Jin-kyung, and dancers Monika and Lip J of Street Woman Fighter fame. Overseas guests included Thai actor Mile Phakphum, Vietnamese singer-model Toc Tien, and Singaporean actor Ayden Sng.

The celebration of Bulgari Studio continues through March 31 at Lotte World Tower & Mall in Jamsil district. The Bulgari Studio includes a special installation for the occasion by Anyma.

“[The project] offers a glimpse into the performance of the DJ-artist who carefully crafted sound and visuals by merging the creative universes of Anyma and B.zero1. The iconic ring is presented in the shape of a potentially endless spiral: neither horizontal nor vertical, the infinite tunnel points towards the future, where everything is possible for those who have the courage to look far ahead,” Bulgari said in a statement.
