Building Solid Habits That Last In "Life Reset" With Paul Rodriguez (Video)

At 38 years old, Paul Rodriguez has had quite the decorated career in skateboarding, and to this day he's yet to slow down. If you've ever wondered what his secret is, here's a tiny glimpse into his routine as he resets his life and builds better habits day in and day out.

Wake up with Paul as he rolls through the Bakerboys park for a session with Andrew Reynolds, Shane Heyl, Manny Santiago and more, and follow him into the night as he shares his post-session, evening routine.

The Baker session looked solid—professionals being professionals; grown up kids being grown up kids. Seeing Paul and Reynolds skating together well into their 30s and 40s is really rad to see. (Nollie late flip was fire!) Both are legends in their own right, both continue to progress and both continue to inspire multiple generations of skateboarders.

After the session, we find ourselves in Paul's home gym for some post-skate stretching, foam rolling and a cold plunge (which is pretty hilarious). As well on some reflections from the day. Paul has always been a pretty insightful human, both on and off the board, but it seems to be amplified these days.

It's all part of the process. It's all part of the routine. It's all part of building better habits that last, ones that promise longevity on the board. Especially for skaters like Paul who have dealt with the wear and tear that comes with pro skating for decades now.

These "Life Reset" episodes are pretty rad. I've always appreciated how Paul has put himself out there as much as he has over the years. Keep up the good work, P-Rod. It's working.
