This cuffing season, if you’re hoping to snuggle up with bae in a Wifi-free zone and get away from it all, I’ve got a project for you. The Allwood Escape tiny home kit is a wood cabin that’s just 113 square feet inside, but that makes it all the cozier, am I right?! It’s the perfect setup for a little vacation by the lake.

Also, here’s something to get you brainstorming: According to the questions on Amazon, people have even used this tiny house as a one-room dry wood-burning sauna. Other cool design ideas include a tiny guest cabin, a one-room hot yoga studio, a lake house, or a retail kiosk (if you sell maple syrup, whiskey, or something else super woodsy).

You probably won’t be able to fit a full kitchen and bathroom in there, but a couple of sofas or futons, a queen bed, or even a small jacuzzi would fit comfortably. One customer turned the tiny home into an Airbnb listing and added a bedside table with a microwave and coffee maker. Which is a smart way to set it up, so you don’t have to stray too far from your bed for a cup of coffee or instant mac and cheese cup.

There’s also a cute front deck area, where you can stick a bench (maybe one of those fun swingy ones!) and a table and chairs if you feel like munching in the middle of the woods.

The Amazon listing claims that assembly takes one full day for two adults—with minimal tools, using the DIY instructions provided. You’ll have to add a foundation and roof shingles yourself, too. And it doesn’t come with electricity, but that’s an easy setup since it’s so tiny.

If you’re not feeling so handy, the Amazon listing suggests hiring a contractor to assemble it, which should cost you somewhere around $750. That’s on top of the $5,350 you already paid for the cabin itself, of course.

But, whether you rent it out to other people taking a tiny getaway or return to your cozy cabin every fall for a lakeside escape, it’s worth the bucks.
