A Budding Makeup Artist Gave Everyone at Prom a Fenty Beauty Glow

Doling out highlight like it ain't no thang.

There are three things that make for a perfect prom night: a great dress, a fun date, and a flawless face beat. With the help of Fenty Beauty, one teenage makeup artist made sure every single person at his prom had that last one on lock.

High school student Billy Huynh showed up to his prom armed with Fenty Beauty highlighter and dished out a little extra glow to his classmates on their way into the dance. Huynh posted a video on Twitter of himself glitzing out a friend's face, admitting that the goal was to make everyone feel amazing on the big night. "i wanted everyone to glow so i went around with @fentybeauty highlight and did my thing 🤑✨ I AM THE GENEROUS QUEEN ASK MISS ELLEN," Billy wrote alongside the video.

Understandably, the Internet loved it, with commenters calling the makeup artist a "national hero" and "the goodest good samaritan out there." Fenty also took notice of Billy's act of kindness (and major makeup skills) and offered to send some product in order to facilitate more good deeds. "UM this is amazing!!! We love a generous queen!! Send us a DM, we'd love to send you some more KILLAWATT to bless everyone with, boo 💖," the brand wrote on its Twitter account.

"I was running around seeing if anyone wanted to be blessed with Fenty!" Huynh told PopSugar of the impromptu makeup sessions. "I wanted everyone to feel as snatched as I did." Billy used Fenty Beauty's Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo in Hu$la Baby/Mean Money ($34), and applied it using a BH Cosmetics brush.

"The response was amazing because people loved the pigment," Huynh said. "I was blinding people a mile away. I was glowing on the dance floor!"

Growing glowing up, as it turns out, isn't all that hard to do, as long as you've got Fenty (and a talented and generous makeup artist) on your side.
