Bud Light Has A Strawberry Lemonade Beer That You'll Want In Your Hands For The Rest Of The Summer
Forgive me if this makes me sound like the antithesis of a "cool girl," but I just never got into drinking beer! Of course, I drank my fair share of cheap cans in college and will still definitely have a tall boy at a baseball game. Oh, and sometimes I like a flight of beer at a brewery...okay, I guess I like beer just fine, but there's rarely one that truly excites me—until this new Bud Light Strawberry Lemonade beer came along.
Bud Light got into the spiked seltzer game recently (VERY successfully I might add!) but this is not that. Yes, this is a drink that infuses the flavor of strawberry lemonade into the Bud Light beer that you know and love.
A few people have already reviewed it on Beer Advocate, with one person saying that it looks like beer when poured but smells like the "pink part of neopolitan ice cream," which is typically strawberry, so uh, yeah that tracks! As for how it tastes? Apparently pretty sweet, which is a plus for anyone like me who runs on hard seltzer.
We hadn't seen this beer too much before. A bit of digging leads us to believe it's primarily sold in Canada, where it's available for a limited time this summer. That might be because we in the states have been blessed with Natural Light's Strawberry Lemonade flavor as well as Bud Light Lemonade. So even if you can't find Strawberry Lemonade in the U.S. you have some other great options. We reached out to Anheuser-Busch for more info and we'll be sure to update if we hear back!
