BTS Releases Teaser for "Boy With Luv" Music Video Featuring Halsey

"Our ghosts are dead. We are SHOOOOOOOK."

It’s official: a BTS x Halsey collab is finally happening, and the ARMY has begun their freakout accordingly.

On Sunday, April 7, Big Hit Entertainment (BTS’s parent company) dropped a teaser for the K-pop group’s upcoming video “Boy With Luv,” which will feature Halsey. The 45-second clip shows the “Without Me” singer sporting sherbet-colored hair, sitting patiently at a movie theater ticket window. All of a sudden, she slams the gate shut and walks out into the road where she spots the BTS members, all of whom are clad in cotton-candy pink suits. Before the screen fades to black, we see a brightly-lit neon sign above the movie theater reading “Persona,” a likely nod to BTS’s upcoming album.

According to Big Hit Entertainment, “Boy With Luv” will be released on Friday, April 12, so fans won’t have much longer to wait. Which is definitely a good thing, because, as one ARMY member put it: “Our ghosts are dead. We are SHOOOOOOOK.”

Halsey and BTS’s friendship goes way back. The musical artists met back in 2017, and spent time together the following year when Halsey visited South Korea for her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom world tour. In August 2018, Halsey shared a photo of herself with the K-pop group on Instagram, writing: “You know there was no way I’d come all the way to Seoul without seeing these guys.” Needless to say, fans have been hoping for a collab between Halsey and BTS for a while, especially since the “Eastside” singer has dubbed the boy band an “inspiration” to her own music.
