The term "triple threat" is generally applied to those who can sing, dance, and act with aplomb. It's an impressive thing, in and of itself, and I'd never want to do anything to take anything away from the folks out there who are triple threats in the traditional sense. Good for you! Great for you, even! But, considering the events of this evening, I'd like to expand the definition.

A triple threat can refer to a star of stage, sound, and screen, sure! But it can ALSO refer to what happens when the biggest band in the world collides with a molten hot fashion label and the Grammys, aka "music's biggest night." And considering the considerable talent of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, is it surprising in the least that the indisputable force of nature that is BTS has claimed this particular "triple threat" designation for itself?

The guys showed up to this evening's festivities wearing Louis Vuitton from head to toe, in a relatively stark palette of black, white, and tan. Taken in aggregate, the effect is arresting (and pretty damn cool). It's not like we really need to be reminded that these are the colors (along with navy and gray) that lay the very foundations of menswear. But when they're shown off like this? The reminder is welcome—and suggests that in addition to keeping us going in the past, these colors are probably the way into the future, too.
