BTS’s Jimin Revealed Why the BTS ARMY Brought Him to Tears at a Brazil Concert

So pure.

The boys of BTS are taking their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour all over the world, and it seems the tears are following them every step of the way. After Jungkook’s emotional farewell on U.S. soil, it was now Jimin’s turn to let out all the feels during the group's two-night, sold-out stop at the Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil.

During the first night of the event on May 25, the ARMY went into a global breakdown upon seeing Jimin crying while singing “The Truth Untold” with his bandmates. And while some fans believed his struggling to sing the ballad was another “normal” tearjerker moment, others feared it had something to do with Jiminie’s actual health.

“Oh...my...god,,, this absolutely broke my heart! b-armys said that jimin was sick, and was coughing a lot during the soundcheck...im sure he was crying bc he couldn't give his 100% but someone pls let him know that we understand and it's completely okay!!” an ARMY noticed on Twitter when clips of the tearful moment started to surface.

Thankfully, ARMYs (and Jungkook) were there to take over his lines in yet another BTS heartwarming moment. The next day, just before the septet sang the tour’s farewell song “Mikrokosmos,” Jimin took the opportunity to clear the air on his health and reveal the true reason for his tears.

“There's something I want to make sure to tell all of you. Actually, this rarely happens but my body was a little unwell until yesterday. [...] But the reason I cried yesterday was because you all sang together with us. Right? I was deeply moved by that and it became a gift for me, guys,” Jimin shared on-stage according to a dedicated fan account who posted and translated Jimin’s emotional speech in full on Twitter.

“Thank you so, so much. I’ll never forget that you moved my heart and everything I received from you, even after today. And I’ve gotten better now! Thank you so, so much and I love you all a lot. Thank you!" Jimin finally added. In the end, his tears were "happy tears" and fans surely noticed.

"Seeing Jimin crying at #BTSatAllianzParque is reminding me of when he cried at Citi Field, which he later talked about being a moment of positive epiphany in his life. Not all tears are sorrowful; some are healing," an ARMY tweeted. After the concert, Jimin himself also posted a few snaps to Twitter expressing his gratitude to the Brazilian ARMY for singing with him.

BTS still has a few stops left in this tour in Europe and Asia. The Bangtan boys will be performing at the legendary Wembley Stadium in London (and live streaming it for the rest of the world through VLIVE+) this weekend and will later take over Paris before heading back to Korea, so we'd better start buckling up for some more emotional moments.
