BTS’s J-Hope Wore a North Face Jacket with the South Korean Flag

Making this NYFW trend his own.

With puffer jackets taking over the runways this season, BTS’s J-Hope went straight to the source, pulling out his North Face for a series of selfies. This is not the first time the singer has opted for the tried-and-true jacket, wearing a bright red style from the brand’s collaboration with Supreme a few months ago on-stage at Jimmy Kimmel.

J-Hope’s new puffer was a classic white down style, with a thick black trim at the top. His, however, was covered in allover black polka dots and had the South Korean flag printed at various points throughout, including his chest and also each arm. The style (in honor of last week’s Olympic games) is called the IC Nuptse Jacket and can be purchased from the brand here, in both South Korean as well as American styles. What’s more, the collection also includes a hat and scarf combo, T-shirt, backpack, and warm down booties.

We love that J-Hope took this practical runway trend and made it his own, showing off his sporty style as he posted the selfie on Twitter. The photo went along with a series of images he shared, captioned, “‪#HopeWorld‪ #Airplane ✈ ‪#Hopefilm 📷‪.” The images come from behind-the-scenes of the video for his first solo drop that he released just last week.

The statement jackets featured in the photos and his music video seemed appropriate, as the band is well-known for having a seemingly endless collection of them. Though J-Hope had no band members to coordinate his sporty look with on this particular occasion, here’s hoping they were all wearing matching puffers somewhere else in the world.
