BTS’s J-Hope Shared His “Outro: Ego” Manicure With ARMYs on Twitter

Recreating this for the “MOTS:7” tour.

On February 2, BTS officially put out “Outro: Ego,” the second comeback trailer for Map of the Soul: 7, and, to celebrate the release, J-Hope gave ARMYs a closer look at his “Ego”-inspired manicure.

Soon after the song dropped, J-Hope stopped by Weverse and Twitter to share some behind-the-scenes pics from the video shoot. The rapper, whose real name is Jung Hoseok, posted a selfie and a full-body shot taken while on set, as well as a close-up shot of some of the video’s props. To end on a high note, he closed off the tweet with a close-up of his nail art, giving ARMYs major nail envy.

For the “Outro: Ego” video, Hobi decided to rock his very own personalized manicure. On his left hand, he sported the letters “E,” “G,” and “O” in a simple, all-black and fine-line calligraphy style across his index, middle, and ring fingers, respectively. For his right hand, he took a more sticker-like approach, going for a classic, yellow smiley face on his pinky and the word “hope” in a black and white style on his index finger.

Prior to Hobi posting the close-up on Twitter, some fans had already spotted the manicure in the video. “yes this is a hoseok nail art focus cam,” an ARMY posted collating snippets of his nails into a fancam. “hobi nail art world domination,” another one added with screengrabs.

To complete the look, J-Hope adorned his hands with two colorful rings from South Korean jewelry designer hurjaboy. He rounded off the hand-envy with a very on-brand “hope” bracelet from the same designer as well as a classic Chanel watch in white because, well, what can we say, the man’s got style.
