BTS, Dua Lipa, and Billie Eilish Will Perform Remotely on "Late Late Show With James Corden" Special

Social distancing is about to get a whole lot easier thanks to James Corden, who’s bringing all our faves (from BTS to Billie Eilish) together — all while maintaining self-isolation standards.

On March 25, James Corden took to Twitter to announce a very special episode of The Late Late Show will be coming our way on Monday, March 30. “This coming Monday, we're bringing people together to keep them apart,” James announced on Twitter.

According to the teaser image posted on social, the upcoming episode, aptly titled #HomeFest, will feature BTS, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish and brother Finneas, Andrea Bocelli, David Blaine, John Legend, and Will Ferrell as guests. (Plus more to be announced!)

As reported by Variety, the episode aims to bring forth a new format of late night hosting during the coronavirus pandemic, when practices like social distancing and self-isolating are widely encouraged around the world. James will reportedly host the show from his garage and conduct interviews with the artists invited.

Though we can’t quite expect to see beloved segments like Carpool Karaoke, the show will also include brand-new “musical performances by BTS in South Korea, Andrea Bocelli in Italy, Dua Lipa in London, and Billie Eilish with FINNEAS and John Legend in Los Angeles.” All artists will reportedly perform from their respective homes.

On top of entertainment galore, the special will also aim to “raise awareness, raise money and hopefully lift spirits,” according to its executive producers.

The special episode, broadcasted at 10 p.m. EST on CBS, will mark The Late Late Show’s return to air since the coronavirus outbreak forced it to pause production.
