Army, are you ready? BTS is back with new music. The K-pop idols are gearing up to release the new single, "Take Two," on June 9 to celebrate their 10th anniversary. On Tuesday, May 30, the group's official Twitter account announced the news in a statement posted to Weverse.

According to the statement, the song's title celebrates the group entering its second chapter after a decade-long journey as artists. The statement also said that the "single is an ode to their fans, ARMY, showing the septet's gratitude to their fans." SUGA is credited with participating in the overall production of the song, while RM and J-Hope are listed as songwriters.

From Wednesday, June 1, through Saturday, June 17, BTS will celebrate its annual BTS FESTA with content created in honor of its 10th anniversary and ending with an IRL event in Seoul, Korea.

BTS FESTA is a special time for the group and their fans. During last year's festival, the K-pop idols revealed that they were going on a hiatus until each member fulfilled their mandatory military duties in South Korea.

Since their break, each member of the group has been on solo projects. Most recently, BTS star SUGA landed a new role as an ambassador for the NBA. Jimin became the first of his group members to have one of their solo singles hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, thanks to his smash hit "Like Crazy." J-Hop gave fans a look into his recording process during Disney+'s documentary j-hope IN THE BOX ahead of his Jack in the Box album. RM released his first full-length solo album Indigo on December 2 and appeared in an NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert to celebrate. Jung Kook graced the stage during the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. He also appeared on the FIFA World Cup soundtrack.

As the oldest member of BTS, Jin was the first to fulfill his military duties. Before his departure, he released his first official solo single, "The Astronaut," on October 28. V appeared in the Disney+ series In the Scoop: Friendcation, which followed V and a famous group of his friends as they relaxed together during a surprise vacation.
