From memorable debuts on stateside television stages to spearheading the launch of a new beauty product line, BTS have been having a moment. And somewhere in between dodging fruit for fun and planning their next big music collaboration, the act found some time to accept the top honor at this year's Seoul Music Awards.

The group was awarded the Daesang award at the 2018 Seoul Music Awards on January 25. According to Twitter, the award has previously gone to the group Exo since 2014. The annual award show celebrates the best and brightest in South Korean music, Just Jared reports, with winners being chosen based on multiple factors including album sales and fan votes. The Daesang award is the evening's grand prize.

This was the first time BTS has won top honors and they took to Twitter to celebrate with members of their "army". The group posed in numerous solo and group selfies holding the award and smiling. Their fans proved just as excited by the win, encouraging them with messages of support and congratulating them on breaking the 4-year win streak previously held by Exo.

Members of the group reportedly thanked their fans in acceptance speeches, Metro reported, and promised viewers at home and around the world that more things are in store for 2018.
