Bryce Dallas Howard Shares Sweet Birthday Message for 'Daddio' Ron Howard

The actress shared some precious childhood photos on social media to wish her famous father a happy birthday.

Bryce Dallas Howard is looking back on her memories with her father, Ron Howard, in honor of his 69th birthday.

The Jurassic World actress, 42, took to Instagram on Wednesday, March 1 to ring in her pop's big day with a series of throwback photos from when she was just a little girl.

"Daddio, you are my best friend — always have been, always will be," she captioned the post. "I love you. Happy Birthday ❤️⁣."

The set of photos began with a shot of the daddy-daughter duo as Ron smiled for the camera while his daughter, a toddler at the time, sat in his lap. Bryce also provided her own description of each photo to give her followers some context.

The first caption read, "1983 Daddio holds an almost 2-year-old BDH in his arms as she rests on his lap. Ron wears a light blue t-shirt, bringing out both his and BDH’s matching eye color."

The second photo, which shows Bryce a bit older, sitting with her dad as he read her a story, was captioned, "A bedtime candid from 1987. Ron (right) and BDH (left) sit on the floor, leaning against a bed as Ron reads BDH a book."

Funny enough, Bryce's own birthday falls just one day after her dad's, so he returned the favor and shared an Instagram post to his page to send her a sweet message.

"It’s been one of THE joys of our lives to witness ⁦‪@BryceDHoward‬⁩ grow into the woman, mother, wife & consummate show biz pro that she is," the doting dad wrote to his daughter, whom he shares with longtime wife Cheryl Howard. "Ever evolving she’s somehow personally ambitious & generous & loving all at once."

For his photo, Ron also opted for a childhood throwback, sharing a sweet image of Bryce sleeping as a young girl while cuddling a stuffed animal.

"#HappyBirthdayBryce. U make us grateful & proud," he added in the post. "Cheryl & I & the rest of the family can’t wait to where else your journey takes. We’re with you all the way!"

"I love you Daddio❤️❤️❤️" Bryce wrote in the comments.
