The 'icon' turned 56 years old yesterday.

Bryce Dallas Howard is celebrating "icon" Laura Dern, who turned 56 years old yesterday, Feb. 10.

The Jurrasic World actress took to Instagram to mark the occasion, sharing a sweet message for the star of the original Jurassic Park alongside a carousel of screenshots comparing their characters—especially how Howard's character Claire Dearing's hair was frequently styled as an homage to Dern's Dr. Ellie Sattler—throughout the two trilogies.

"Happy Birthday to the icon and role model who inspires me, Claire Dearing, and generations of bad-ass women 🥳 @lauradern, you are an undeniable force of talent and heart ❤️⁣⁣," she wrote, also making sure to shoutout the "incredible" stylists who put together their beloved looks.

"Happy birthday @lauradern and thank you @brycedhoward …. What an amazing time and joyful homage it was ♥️♥️♥️♥️," Charlie Rodgers, who did Howard's hair in Jurassic World: Dominion, wrote in response.

Plenty of fans followed suit, sending their love to both women.

"2 BOSSES right here!🫶🏽💖✨✨And a Happy Birthday to Laura too!🎉💕," one fan wrote.

"I love her character in Jurassic Park I wanted to be Dr Ellie growing up. Seeing you both on screen together was amazing it made my little nerd heart so happy haha x," shared another.

Others admitted that they never caught the similarities in style, with one writing, "I did not notice the hair thing at all… THATS AWESOME!!!!!!" and another joking, "How is it I’ve watched Dominion about 10 times and it took you posting this to realize Claire’s hair was inspired by Ellie’s… girl take my Jurassic card away 😂"

It's certainly a subtle honor, but once you see it, you can't miss the care that went into it.

Happy birthday, Laura!
