Who Is Bruna Biancardi, Neymar’s Ex-Girlfriend and Mother to His Daughter

Brazilian soccer phenom Neymar has split from his girlfriend, model Bruna Biancardi, just one month after the birth of their daughter. The news comes only days after messages Neymar sent to an OnlyFans model were leaked. However, the Paris Saint-Germain player claims that the messages were sent years ago.

Biancardi and Neymar went public with their relationship in April 2022, before announcing the pregnancy in a joint Instagram post in April 2023. According to TMZ, Biancardi announced the separation in a social media post on Wednesday.

“This is a private matter,” the statement, which was translated from Biancardi’s native Portuguese, reportedly began. “But as I am exposed to news, assumptions, and jokes on a daily basis, I inform you that I am not in a relationship,” she continued. "We are Mavie's parents, and that is the reason for our bond. Thank you.”

Though she’s much less well-known than Neymar—who recently served as a model for Skims—Biancardi has built quite a following in the fashion industry. In addition to modeling for major brands Louis Vuitton, Off-White, and Balmain, she’s amassed nearly 10 million followers on Instagram. She often posts videos of herself globetrotting to modeling events and vacations in Milan, Dubai, and most frequently Paris, where she previously shared a home with Neymar.

This year, the model posted video updates throughout her entire trip to Paris Fashion Week, including a dispatch from backstage at the Louis Vuitton show which showed her being fitted in an edgy outfit.

Through Neymar, Biancardi has become close with Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo. Neymar and Messi previously played together for FC Barcelona from 2013–2017. In February, shortly after she and Neymar reunited, Biancardi posted to Instagram a photo of herself with Roccuzzo on a girl’s night out.

Biancardi and Neymar have kept their relationship exceptionally private. After announcing their romance, they briefly split before reconciling in February. Their reunion was confirmed in a birthday salutation Biancardi posted for Neymar, which included a photo of the two embracing on a rooftop. “I'm putting this photo here just for the record,” the caption reads in part. “I love youuuuu! You can always count on me.”

Though Biancardi hasn’t issued an official statement beyond her social media message, other posts she’s made give an indication of her state of mind.

“If we look closely, we already have so much to be grateful for,” Biancardi posted to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday. “Sometimes we forget to see the details, but when we observe with attention and affection, we understand...God is good all the time!”

On Tuesday, she reposted a fan’s wish that she never reunited with Neymar. “Bruna B. finally announced the end of her relationship with Neymar, and I hope they never get back together,” the translated caption reads.
