Her statement may just bring you to tears.

Bruce Willis and his wife, model Emma Heming Willis, marked a major milestone in their relationship today: their 14th wedding anniversary.

Emma, 44, celebrated the grand occasion by opening up about how a friend's sweet gesture made her realize just how much love she has in her life–and how anniversaries and special occasions look different than they once had, following her husband's diagnosis and her new role as "the caregiver."

The mother of two took to Instagram early this morning to share a pretty photo of a floral bouquet that a friend dropped off the day prior, along with a statement that may just bring you to tears.

"Today marks 14 years of marriage to the greatest love of my life. I woke with my heart full but what my mind kept going back to was another persons act of kindness yesterday I wanted to share as it inspired the heck out of me," the post began.

"In passing at a school event for our children, I mentioned to my friend that our anniversary was tomorrow. Cut to, I get a text from my friend later that day that said she left 'a little something' for me at my door. It was this sweet bouquet of flowers (pictured) with a note that said Happy Anniversary amongst other things," Emma wrote.

Her statement continued, "It got me thinking about how hard these types of 'special occasions' can be on caregivers. When usually our person would acknowledge the event, now their changing brains just can’t. And that is what it is.So my point is this. If you know someone that is looking after someone else, don’t ask what you can do, just do. This random act of kindness will honestly stay with me for a long time."

Emma concluded by offering a shoutout to the friend that made her day, "I love you Juliya. You singlehandedly made this day special for us 💐💞," before adding a few relevant hashtags: #randomactsofkindness #gratitude #friendship.

Fans immediately shared an outpouring of love with the couple–whom first said "I do" in 2009–celebrating their big day and thanking Emma specifically for her continued openness and the "reminder to care for the caregivers ❤️."
