Brooks Nader Shares Emotional Reaction to Her SI Swimsuit Cover

Brooks Nader just reached a milestone accomplishment in her career!

The 27-year-old model's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover was unveiled yesterday, May 15, and she can't believe her dreams have finally become reality.

Nader took to her Instagram to share her excitement over the news with a series of photos that captured her celebrating with flowers, a bottle of champagne, and a few of her closest friends. Alongside the photos, she shared an uplifting message with her followers, thanking everyone who made her dreams come true.

"I AM A SPORTS ILLUSTRATED COVER MODEL!!! I THOUGHT I WOULD WAKE UP FROM THIS DREAM, BUT ITS REAL LIFE!!!!" Nader exclaimed in the caption.

"Growing up in Louisiana, I had CRAZY aspirations and dreams that most called insane but guess what?!!! I DID IT!!! It’s impossible to put into words what this moment means to me. It's an absolute dream come true to be featured on the cover of such an iconic publication that has celebrated beauty, empowerment, and individuality for nearly 60 years," she gushed. "This cover represents SO much more than just a beautiful image. It symbolizes the power of embracing our bodies, uniqueness, and CHASING YOUR FREAKING DREAMS, no matter how big or small!!! Visualize them, write them down, manifest them and then put in the WORK! This issue is a celebration of confidence, strength, and the beauty that resides within each and every one of us!!!!"

Nader continued her statements by thanking the SI Swimsuit team, including Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editor-in-chief MJ Day.

"I want to express my deepest appreciation to @mj_day & the entire Sports Illustrated Swimsuit team for believing in me from day 1, when very few in this industry did. You are all FAMILY and to represent your brand and work alongside you is a privilege and one of the greatest honors of my life," Nader wrote.

"I am humbled and inspired to be part of a legacy that has featured some of the most ICONIC individuals in the world. I hope that my presence on this cover inspires others to believe in themselves, pursue their passions relentlessly, and break down barriers along the way!!! NEVER GIVE UP! I love you all!!!🤍🤍🤍🤍," Nader concluded.

Nader was first discovered by SI Swimsuit in 2019 when she won the brand's open casting call competition, Swim Search. She has returned to appear in the magazine every year since, with 2023 marking her first time gracing the cover.
