Brooklyn Beckham holding Selena Gomez's dress up is BFF goals

Sure, she may be a long-serving member of Taylor Swift's girl squad, but it's Selena Gomez's friendship with Nicola Peltz Beckham that has been making headlines for the past year. The pair twinned in matching leather jackets back in September and if that's not confirmation of BFF status, we don't know what is.

As any single girlie will know, when your bestie has a significant other their partner becomes your best friend too. So it's no surprise that by extension, Nicola's husband Brooklyn Beckham is also often mentioned when discussing the friends. So much so, the trio have even joked they are a throuple with Brooklyn celebrating their one-year anniversary in a recent Instagram post.

And Selena just proved how close she and Brooklyn are, sharing a video to her Instagram stories of the son of David and Victoria Beckham holding her dress for her. Who said chivalry was dead?

Writing over the clip, "me leaving any event thank you @brooklynpeltzbeckham for the help" Selena could be seen running on a concrete floor with Brooklyn close behind her. While Selena had gathered the front of her dress in one hand to stop her tripping, Brooklyn had hold of her train to keep it from dragging along the floor.

It turns out Selena, Brooklyn and Nicola had all been at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Annual Gala in Los Angeles before deciding to make a quick exit at the end of the event. For the occasion, the Beckhams had donned their finest red carpet attire with Brooklyn sporting a classic black suit with a white button-down shirt worn open at the collar. Meanwhile, Nicola looked stunning in a pale pink strapless gown with a ruched bodice and a corsage detail at the hip. A pink scarf was worn around her neck, draping down her back.

As for the dress in question, Selena also got the corsage trend memo sporting a black dress that featured a halter neckline constructed out of 3D silver flowers that continued over her shoulders. She added black opera gloves and a diamond ring, bracelet and earrings for extra drama. All in all, a gorgeous ensemble that was too good to drag on the floor.

Yep, we could all use a friend like Brooklyn Beckham.
