Brooke Shields is feeling the puppy love.

The 58-year-old recently welcomed a little black-and-white dog into the family, showing off her fur baby in an adorable series of snaps on Instagram. The actress posed in a hot pink bikini, holding up her new pup while giving him tummy kisses. Her husband Chris Henchy also had a turn holding the little one.

She captioned the photos, "World, meet Tuzi. Tuzi, meet world. You know we couldn't go long without puppy love in our house."

Soon enough, her fans and friends were feeling the love for Tuzi, too.

"GIVE. HIM. TO. ME. RIGHT. NOW," commented Ali Wentworth, while Howard Stern's wife Beth Stern thought the puppy looked "scrumptious."

"Following your empty nest lead! I'm here for THIS! 💗💗💗," shared a fan. Another remarked, "Nice to meet you, Tuzi! You are so beautiful! ❤️."

Tuzi is joining the family at the perfect time. The actress has been mourning her poodle mix Pepper, who died in February at 10 years old. Shields announced Pepper's death with a heartbreaking Instagram post, writing, "Today we had to say goodbye to our beloved furry girl Pepper, aka 'Magoo.' It was the hardest thing we have ever had to do. She was Pure Love."

The new pup appears to be Shields' second bulldog, so she's clearly a fan of the breed. She adopted a bulldog named Darla in 1998, who died in 2011. In an interview with People, Shields spoke about the dog's passing, noting, "We're all in that sort of trauma where we have her ashes and the girls carry these little footprints of hers around. She was the only dog we've really ever had."
