Brooke D'Orsay: 8 Hallmark Movies Starring the Actress We Love
Blonde Canadian beauty Brooke D'Orsay may be known now as one of our favorite Hallmark sweethearts, but the 41-year-old actress worked her way up to where she is today. Her first credited role was in the 2001 film Why Can't I Be a Movie Star?, and during the early days of her career, before she was the starlet we love her as today, she fine-tuned her skills in the Trailervision improv troupe.
One of her early roles was doing voice work on a popular Canadian series called 6Teen, before you could catch her in a number of popular sitcoms and series throughout the 2000s.

Over the years, Brooke D'Orsay has made appearances in shows like The Big Bang Theory, Happy Hour, Psych, How I Met Your Mother, Gary Unmarried, Drop Dead Diva, Two and a Half Men, Royal Pains, Grace and Frankie and more.
It wasn't until 2017 that she made her debut on the Hallmark Channel in Miss Christmas, and since then, she's continued to shine, her most recent film being A Not So Royal Christmas alongside Hallmark hunk Will Kemp.

Brooke D'Orsay talked with The Harlton Empire about feel-good movies like those she stars in on Hallmark, saying, "It’s so exciting to watch this genre grow! It’s not so much a message that I hope people take away, but a feeling. My hope is that fans continue to tune into these movies to smile and to feel good. I think when it comes down to it, all we really want is to feel good. And these movies do just that."

8. Beverly Hills Wedding (2021)
Brooke D'Orsay stars as a wedding photographer named Molly, who enters her newly engaged little sister into a contest to win a lavish wedding. She ultimately wins the contest, allowing for famed planner Terrence Roquefort's (Matthew MacCaull) to bring their big day to life. All the while, she finds herself as the maid-of-honor spending a bit more time than she'd hoped with the best man, who also happens to be her ex (Brendan Penny).
7. Miss Christmas (2017)
Holly (D'Orsay) is known throughout Chicago as Miss Christmas, always able to produce the most magnificent tree for the plaza. However, when the current tree is damaged, it's up to her to find its replacement in a mere 10 days before the lighting ceremony.
When a man named Sam's (Marc Blucas) son writes to Holly informing her of the perfect tree for her in Wisconsin, she makes her way there to see it for herself. However, despite the growing attraction between she and Sam, he is reluctant to let the tree go, as it has the initials of his mother who had recently passed carved into the base. With the threat of being fired looming over her head, Holly has a tough choice to make.
6. Nostalgic Christmas (2019)
Anne's (D'Orsay) holiday visit back to her hometown this year is tarnished by the knowledge that her dad is selling his toy store, where he sells hand-carved wooden toys. When she's recruited to be the co-chair of her Maine town's Christmas celebration alongside handsome local Keith (Trevor Donovan), she finds herself questioning whether her life back in the big city can compare to what life in her hometown could hold.
5. Wedding of a Lifetime (2022)
Brooke D'Orsay stars alongside fellow Hallmark superstar Jonathan Bennett in Wedding of a Lifetime as Darby and Jake, two high school sweethearts who are ready to break off their engagement. Before they have the chance to break the news to their friends and family, they find themselves entered in a "romantic relationship" contest that's nationally televised for the chance of winning an all expenses paid dream wedding.

Realizing the benefits that keeping up this ruse could bring, it's only a matter of time before the duo learns whether this was a major mistake or their best shot at rekindling their love for one another.
Brooke D'Orsay spoke with The List about working with Jonathan Bennett: "He makes everyone feel so instantly at ease because he has such a huge sense of fun and play and has everyone in the crew feeling comfortable and laughing all day long. I don't think I've ever had more fun on a job than with Jonathan," she said.
4. Christmas in Love (2018)
Ellie (D'Orsay) is a baker who meets the big city CEO Nick (Daniel Lissing), who is full of ideas aimed to modernize at the cost of laying off employees. Ellie and the townspeople show Nick what is truly at the heart of the business, but Ellie is hesitant to trust him. Simultaneously, Ellie has dreams of her own as an aspiring crafter.
3. A Dickens of a Holiday! (2021)
Cassie is directing the production of A Christmas Carol in her town of Dickens, Ohio's annual Dickens Day festival. When the lead actor in her production drops out, she must reach out to her former classmate and current action movie star Jake (Kristoffer Polaha) to fill the role. Although they butt heads at first, the two end up learning more from each other than they imagined they would.
2. A Fabled Holiday (2022)
Talia (D'Orsay) and Anderson (Ryan Paevey) are childhood best friends whose mutual love for a book A Wunderbrook Christmas Story is one of the things that brings them together. In the story, a town that's full of Christmas spirit helps those going through difficult times. When Talia is struggling with her writing and Anderson, a doctor, is shaken when he loses one of his patients, they find themselves in a town quite similar to the fictional one they loved so much.
"I was really intrigued by Talia when I read the script," Brooke D'Orsay told The Harlton Empire. "Here’s this person — a quirky, talented writer with a huge imagination, who out of fear, has made all the safe choices in life. So much so that she often opts to read about adventures instead of going on them. It’s really exciting to watch her gain the perspective she needs in order to break free and live the life that awaits her."

1. A Not So Royal Christmas (2023)
Charlotte is a tabloid journalist who scores an interview with a reclusive Count. When she arrives at the palace, she mistakes groundskeeper Adam (Will Kemp) for the mysterious and unknown Count. The royal family uses this blunder to their advantage, having Adam pose as the reclusive character, as he gives her an inside look into the annual Yuletide Ball.
