This Brompton Lights Up the Night
Given that Brompton Bicycle caters to urban commuters and cyclists, anything the company can do to make riders more visible in traffic is a positive in our book.
We first spotted this prototype Brompton folder at Eurobike, and were staggered by the simplicity of the idea. Light-up paint turns the whole machine into a huge rolling reflector.

Developed in tandem with Darkside Scientific, the frame is coated in a spray-applied electroluminescent paint called LumiLor, which activates the illumination with a small electric current.
While there is no hard and fast date to get the bike in production, Brompton is hopeful that you will see them rolling off its UK factory line within 18 months.
